Loss of Personal Property 
Security for valuable items is difficult in the school setting. We strongly encourage students to leave personal item at home. Students who choose to bring radios, tape recorders, electronic games or sports equipment to school are responsible for their safekeeping. Lockers are not a safe place for storing valuable items as locks are neither provided nor allowed because of the difficulty with lost keys or students not remembering the combination. 

Lost and Found 
Lost and Found items are located in the "Fix It" Room. Students can check the lost and found for missing articles if given permission by an adult in their classroom. Parents are invited to come in and check the lost and found bins at any time. Two or three times during the school year (usually at conferences, PTO meetings, or Family Fun Nights) lost and found items will be displayed in the hallway outside the office for claiming. After these events and at the end of the year, items remaining will be donated to Good will or other clothing charities.
