New Visions School is a K - 8 public charter school that provides personalized education for children. We offer a safe and respectful setting with a small staff to student ratio.  

New Visions places a strong emphasis on reading, math, technology and science. Our science and technology teachers work with classroom teachers to develop lessons that are challenging and fun. Students participate in several environmental learning activities and field trips throughout the year. We have a state of the art computer lab and internet accessible computers in each classroom.  

All of our teachers are licensed by the state of Minnesota and have additional training in Responsive Classroom, Reading , Diversity, Brain Development and learning styles in order to make them successful teachers in the classroom. 

New Visions has a free Extended Day Enrichment Program for all students after school; fun, academic project based activities and nutritious snacks are provided. 

For seven years NVS has applied the charter school principles of choice, entrepreneurial opportunities for teachers, and accountability for achievement to demonstrate that all students can excel in the classroom.
